...The story might change, but the overall trends are similar. We must remember that volatility is a normal stock market dynamic. For example, we witnessed an extreme amount of volatility in 2020 due to COVID-19, but that was bookended by 2019 and 2021, where general levels of volatility were relatively low. For more than four decades, the S&P 500 annual returns were positive in 32 out of 42 years, with an average return of 11%. Stock markets can be volatile in the short term, but sticking to a long-term plan through periods of market volatility is vital to staying on track towards reaching your financial goals. In Going Digital!
You heard it here folks! As of January 31st 2021, all meetings will be held online (via Zoom). This decision was mainly to limit the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus. As the pandemic took a hit on many businesses, this here is the right approach for us to pivot and to continue servicing all of my wonderful clients in a safe and more convenient way! If the digital space is not so convenient for you (which is only normal that many people are still adjusting to the new reality!), I will still make myself available for in-house meetings at my clients' residence, at a premium cost. In addition, there will be two drop-off spots for any documents (such as income tax files, investment statements, etc.) at the following establishments: 1- Restaurant Papa (5955 Victoria Ave Montreal Quebec H3W 2R8) 2- Dr. Vivian Lim Cayanong Dental Office (5540-B Cote-Des-Neiges Montreal Quebec H3T 1Y9) If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to me on my mobile phone at 514-726-8825 or my email address: jon@sfg.ca
